NOAA space weather scales

A set of three scales developed by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration to communicate the severity and potential impacts of space weather events on Earth. These scales cover geomagnetic storms (G-scale), solar radiation storms (S-scale), and radio blackouts (R-scale). Each scale ranges from 1 (minor) to 5 (extreme), providing a standardized way to assess space weather hazards.
