Physical Oceanographic Real-Time System

A network of sensors and data collection platforms that provide real-time information on oceanographic and meteorological conditions within a specific port or waterway. PORTS measures parameters such as water levels, currents, wind speed and direction, and water temperature. This system is operated by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) in the United States.
