Drilling foreman

The drilling contractor's senior supervisor on location, also called the toolpusher, who is responsible for the rig, its crews, equipment and logistics. Much of the job is administrative. The foreman is employed by the contractor, whereas the operator is represented on site by the company man, who owns the well program.
