COPP-ABV regimen

  1. An abbreviation for a chemotherapy combination used to treat Hodgkin lymphoma in children. It may be used with radiation therapy. COPP-ABV regimen includes the drugs cyclophosphamide, vincristine sulfate (Oncovin), procarbazine hydrochloride, prednisone, doxorubicin hydrochloride (Adriamycin), bleomycin sulfate, and vinblastine sulfate. Also called COPP-ABV.

  2. A regimen consisting of cyclophosphamide, vincristine, prednisone and procarbazine (COPP) alternating with doxorubicin, bleomycin and vinblastine (ABV), used in combination with radiation therapy for the treatment of low-risk, childhood Hodgkin's lymphoma.
