deflazacort
Term · Oncology and biomedicine · MLC-T-ONC-012948
A synthetic glucocorticoid prodrug, with anti-inflammatory and immunomodulating properties. Upon administration, the active metabolite of deflazacort, 21-desacetyl deflazacort, binds to and activates tissue glucocorticoid receptors.
