FOLFIRI-cetuximab regimen

  1. A chemotherapy combination used to treat a certain type of colorectal cancer that has spread to other parts of the body. It includes the drugs leucovorin calcium (folinic acid), fluorouracil, irinotecan hydrochloride, and cetuximab. Also called FOLFIRI-cetuximab.

  2. A chemoimmunotherapy regimen consisting of leucovorin (folinic acid), 5-fluorouracil, and irinotecan plus cetuximab used for the treatment of metastatic colorectal cancer that is positive for the expression of the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) and the wild-type form of KRAS.
