A drug used alone or with other drugs to treat adults with certain types of classic Hodgkin lymphoma, cutaneous or systemic anaplastic large cell lymphoma, large B-cell lymphoma, mycosis fungoides, or peripheral T-cell lymphoma, and with other drugs to treat children aged 2 years and older with certain types of classic Hodgkin lymphoma. It is also being studied in the treatment of other types of cancer. SGN-35 contains a monoclonal antibody that binds to a protein called CD30, which is found on some lymphoma cells. It also contains an anticancer drug, which may help kill cancer cells. SGN-35 is a type of antibody-drug conjugate. Also called Adcetris and brentuximab vedotin.
