Examination method

A detailed written description of the logical sequence of operations used to perform an examination of a property. It specifies the principles and techniques to be applied but does not include the full set of practical instructions needed for a specific instrument or setting. An examination method is a component of a complete examination procedure, which provides the step-by-step instructions for a particular laboratory's implementation.
