Examination error
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004149
The discrepancy between an examined value and the corresponding true value of a nominal property. This type of error occurs during the analytical phase of a laboratory process and can arise from issues with the examining system, the procedure, or human factors. Examination error is distinct from pre-examinational errors, which occur during sample collection and handling, and post-examinational errors, which happen during result reporting and interpretation.
