Laboratory bias

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006407

A systematic error in measurement results that is specific to a particular laboratory, leading to a consistent deviation from the true value. This bias can arise from factors such as calibration errors, environmental conditions, or specific analytical procedures employed within that laboratory. It is distinct from measurement procedure bias, which is inherent to the method itself.
