Systematic error
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011777
A component of measurement error that remains constant or varies in a predictable way under specified conditions, leading to a consistent bias in results. This type of error affects the accuracy of a measurement, causing all readings to deviate from the true value in the same direction. It can arise from faulty calibration of instruments, environmental factors, or flawed experimental design.
