Repeatability
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010186
The precision found when the same measurement procedure is repeated on the same item by the same operator, with the same instrument, in the same laboratory over a short time. Because nothing changes between runs, it gives the smallest scatter the method can show, and it is quantified by the standard deviation of the repeated results. Reproducibility, in which the laboratory, operator and equipment are varied, is its counterpart.
