Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009482
A numerical measure of the likelihood that a specific event will occur, expressed as a value between 0 and 1. A probability of 0 indicates an impossible event, while a probability of 1 indicates a certain event. In chemistry, it quantifies the chance of molecular events, such as a reaction occurring or a molecule being in a particular state.
