Electron density
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003716
A measure of the probability of finding an electron at a particular point in space within an atom or molecule. It is typically represented by a function that describes the distribution of electrons around the nuclei. High electron density indicates a greater likelihood of finding an electron in that region.
