Repeat action dosage form
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010185
A pharmaceutical formulation designed to release a drug in two or more discrete doses or at different rates over an extended period. This allows for sustained therapeutic effects and reduced dosing frequency, improving patient compliance. Such forms often consist of an initial dose for immediate release followed by one or more delayed-release portions.
