Immediate-release tablet

A solid dosage form designed to disintegrate and release the active pharmaceutical ingredient rapidly after administration, allowing for quick absorption. This formulation aims to achieve a rapid onset of action. Unlike sustained-release or extended-release formulations, it does not modify the rate or extent of drug release.
