Compressed tablet

A solid dosage form containing one or more active pharmaceutical ingredients, with or without excipients, prepared by compaction of powders or granules using high pressure. These tablets are the most common type of oral medication due to their stability, ease of administration, and precise dosing. They can be designed for immediate, delayed, or sustained release of the drug.
