Dosage form

The physical form in which a drug is manufactured and administered to a patient, designed to deliver the active pharmaceutical ingredient in a safe and effective manner. Examples include tablets, capsules, liquids, injections, and transdermal patches. The choice of dosage form influences drug stability, bioavailability, and patient compliance.
