Multicompartment formulation

A pharmaceutical dosage form designed with distinct physical or chemical compartments, each containing different active pharmaceutical ingredients or release characteristics. This design allows for the controlled release of multiple drugs, sequential release, or the separation of incompatible substances within a single unit. Examples include bilayer tablets or capsules with different bead types.
