Run bias
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010454
A systematic error that affects all measurements performed within a single analytical run, causing them to deviate consistently from the true value. This bias can arise from factors such as instrument drift, reagent batch variations, or environmental changes during the run. It is distinct from overall laboratory bias, which affects results across multiple runs.
