Analytical run

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-000557

A sequence of measurements performed on a set of samples, quality control materials, and blanks under conditions that are as constant as possible. The purpose is to assess the performance of an analytical method and to obtain results for the unknown samples. An analytical run is typically bracketed by calibration standards and includes quality control samples to monitor for drift or systematic error during the measurement period.
