Quality control material

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009733

A material or substance used to assess the performance of a measurement procedure and monitor its stability over time. It is sufficiently homogeneous and stable with respect to one or more specified properties, and its behavior is intended to mimic that of actual samples. The material is analyzed at regular intervals alongside test samples to verify that the analytical system remains within acceptable control limits.
