Examined value

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004161

A value of a nominal property obtained through an examination process in a clinical laboratory setting. Nominal properties are characteristics whose values are descriptive words, codes, or identifiers rather than quantities, such as blood type or the presence of a specific bacterium. The examined value is the specific outcome observed for a patient sample, which is then compared against a predefined set of possible values, known as the nominal property value set.
