Examination standard
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-013087
A material or object embodying the definition of a particular nominal property, with a stated nominal property value and an associated examination uncertainty, used as a reference. It is the counterpart of a measurement standard for properties that are categories rather than numbers, and it is what is used in examination calibration.
