Quantitative structure-activity relationships
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009752
Mathematical models that correlate the structural or physicochemical properties of chemical compounds with their biological activities. These relationships are developed by analyzing a series of compounds and their measured activities, often using statistical methods. QSAR models are frequently employed in drug discovery to predict the activity of new compounds.
