Quantitative structure-metabolism relationship
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009753
A mathematical model that correlates the structural properties of chemical compounds with their metabolic fate or transformation rates within biological systems. This approach uses physicochemical descriptors of molecules to predict how they will be metabolized. Such models can predict the formation of metabolites or the rate of biotransformation for new or untested compounds.
