Biokinetics

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001275

The study of the rates of absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion of substances within a living organism. This field quantifies how chemicals move through biological systems over time, influencing their concentration at target sites and their elimination from the body. Biokinetic models are often used in toxicology and pharmacology to predict exposure and effects.
