Toxicokinetics
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012173
The study of the quantitative description of the absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion (ADME) of toxic substances in living organisms. This field examines how the body handles a toxicant over time, influencing its concentration at target sites. It is analogous to pharmacokinetics but focuses on harmful agents.
