Toxicokinetics

1. The passage through the body of a toxic agent or its metabolites, usually in an action similar to that of pharmacokinetics.

2. The determination and quantification of the time course of absorption, distribution, biotransformation, and excretion of chemicals (sometimes referred to as pharmacokinetics).

3. The quantitation of the body's metabolism of toxic xenobiotic compounds, as measured by the plasma concentration of the toxicant at various time points.
