Toxicodynamics
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012170
The study of the biochemical and physiological effects of toxic substances on living organisms and their mechanisms of action. This field investigates how a toxicant interacts with biological targets to produce adverse effects. It encompasses the entire sequence of events from the initial interaction to the ultimate manifestation of toxicity.
