Quantitative structure-activity relationship

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009751

A computational modeling approach that correlates the chemical structure of a set of compounds with their biological activity or other properties. These models use mathematical equations to describe how variations in molecular descriptors relate to changes in activity. QSAR models are widely used in drug discovery and environmental risk assessment to predict the behavior of new compounds.
