Algorithm

A finite set of well-defined instructions or a step-by-step procedure for solving a problem or performing a computation. It takes an input, processes it through a sequence of operations, and produces an output. Algorithms are commonly expressed in pseudocode or flowcharts before being implemented in a programming language.
