Backdoor

A hidden method of bypassing normal authentication or encryption in a computer system, application, or network. It allows unauthorized access to resources or data without the knowledge of legitimate users or administrators. Backdoors can be intentionally created by developers for maintenance or maliciously inserted by attackers for illicit control.
