Term · Computing and IT · MLC-T-CMP-000405
An anomalous or exceptional event occurring during the execution of a program that disrupts the normal flow of instructions. When an error such as division by zero or an invalid memory access occurs, the system generates an exception. Programmers use exception handling constructs like try-catch blocks to manage these events and prevent the program from crashing.
