Logic error
Term · Computing and IT · MLC-T-CMP-000693
A flaw in the design or implementation of a program that causes it to produce incorrect or unexpected results, even though the code itself is syntactically correct and does not crash. These errors often arise from faulty algorithms or incorrect assumptions made by the programmer. Debugging logic errors requires careful tracing of program execution and variable states.
