Logic gate
Term · Computing and IT · MLC-T-CMP-000694
An elementary building block of a digital circuit that performs a basic logical operation on one or more binary inputs to produce a single binary output. These gates implement Boolean functions such as AND, OR, NOT, XOR, NAND, and NOR. They are fundamental components in the construction of microprocessors and other digital electronics.
