Word wrap
Term · Computing and IT · MLC-T-CMP-001392
A feature in text editing and word processing software that automatically moves a word to the beginning of the next line if it exceeds the current line's horizontal boundary. This prevents words from being cut off at the end of a line and eliminates the need for manual line breaks. It dynamically adjusts text flow as the window size or font changes.
