Term · Economic statistics · MLC-T-ECS-001638

A residence-to-workplace flow provides information about the relationship between where a worker lives and works. Information about travel patterns and the origins and destinations of work commutes informs transportation planning decisions.

On the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Tabulation, residence-to-worksite commuting flows show only where people work and where they live (up to 9 largest residence geographies plus U.S. balance of all other areas).
