303(D) List

1. A list of streams, lakes, and estuaries where state water-quality standards are not met or where technology-based controls are not sufficient to achieve standards.
2. A list of waters that fail to meet any applicable water quality standards, that states are required, under section 303(d) of the Clean Water Act, to assemble and update once every 2 years. EPA is required to determine the completeness of such lists.
