1. Movement and transport of mass of any water quality constituent over a given period of time. Units of mass flux are mass per unit time.
2. A flowing or flow.
3. The flowrate per unit cross-sectional area.
4. A substance used to help metals fuse together.
5. The rate of movement of mass through a unit cross-sectional area per unit time in response to a concentration gradient or some advective force.
