Foreign Nuisance Plant

Plants that are not native to the region and cause harm to native species, to recreation and other uses of the waterway, and/or to human health. In general, invasive species spread vigorously and enter waterways by many means such as accidental or intentional releases and attachment to boats and other recreational equipment.
