Game Fish

1. Those species of fish sought by sports fisherman (trout, bass, salmon, etc). Game fish are usually more sensitive to environmental changes and water quality degradation than "rough" fish.
2. Species like trout, salmon, or bass, caught for sport. Many of them show more sensitivity to environmental change than "rough" fish.
3. A species of fish considered to possess sporting qualities on fishing tackle.
