Inhalation exposure

1. Exposure to a chemical by breathing it in.
2. (Exposure from) the act of breathing. A hazardous substance can enter the body this way.
3. Introducing air toxics (or other pollutants) into the body via breathing. Once inhaled, air toxics can be deposited in the lungs, taken into the blood, or both.
