knock off technology

A proprietary method of horizontal directional drilling in which large-diameter drill pipe is used with the well materials already inside the drill pipe. Once the desired borehole location is reached, the drill bit detaches from the drill pipe, the drill pipe is withdrawn from the borehole, and the well materials remain in place.
