Neutron

1. A subatomic particle with no electrical charge, found within every atom's nucleus except hydrogen, with some exceptions. A neutron has about the same mass as a proton.
2. An elementary particle that is found in the nucleus of every atom except hydrogen. Neutrons have no electrical charge.
