Potentially Responsible Party Removal

1. A PRP removal is a short-term cleanup conducted by the Potentially Responsible Party and is intended to stabilize or clean up a site that poses an imminent and substantial threat to human health or the environment. Removals can occur at any stage of the Superfund cleanup process, but are often the first response upon discovery of a hazardous substance at a site.
