Radioactive Mixed Waste

1. A material that contains both hazardous waste subject to RCRA and source, special nuclear, or by-product material subject to the Atomic Energy Act of 1954.

2. Radioactive waste that is also a hazardous waste under RCRA. Such wastes are jointly regulated by RCRA and Atomic Energy Act.

3. Mixed waste contains both radioactive and hazardous waste components.
