Total economic value
Term · Environment · MLC-T-ENV-028272
The sum of all relevant use values and nonuse values for ecosystem goods and services of a change in a given ecosystem (i.e., the full social benefits). This is distinct from the "total value" of an ecosystem, which is the value of the entire system (e.g., the value of an entire wetland), but instead is the value of a marginal change to that ecosystem.
