X-Rays

A form of ionizing radiation made up of high-energy, electromagnetic radiation, or photon quanta. X-rays can pass completely through the human body without interacting, or, in some instances, they can either be absorbed or scattered when interacting with the human body. Medical x-rays are the single largest source of man-made radiation exposure.
