Interference caused by spurious power from a signal in a frequency channel adjacent to the one being used. Adjacent Channel Interference (ACI) arises from imperfect filtering or non-linearities in transmitters, causing their emissions to spread beyond their allocated bandwidth. The amount of interference is quantified by the Adjacent Channel Power Ratio (ACPR), which measures the power in the adjacent channel relative to the power in the transmitted channel.
